About our Bible study Group

Our Bible study group isn’t really about analyzing or explaining the Bible. It’s more about meeting it as something alive, something that can actually change us from the inside.

We read together not just to learn, but to let the words speak to us personally. As we read, we take time to reflect and notice what it stirs in us. Instead of seeing the Bible as fixed ideas, we see it as something living that points us toward a deeper way of understanding and living.

Each time we meet, we’ll read a passage and just let it unfold, seeing what it brings up and how it can support us in our own inner growth.

On the 25th of march we will be talking about : Colossians 3:1–17

Colossians 3:1–17

Put On the New Self

1 Therefore, if you were raised with Christ, seek the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.
2 Set your mind on the things above, not on the things on the earth.
3 For you died, and your life has been hidden with Christ in God.
4 When Christ is manifested — who is your life — then you also will be manifested with him in glory.

5 Therefore put to death the earthly members: sexual immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and greed, which is idolatry.
6 Because of these things the wrath is coming.
7 In these things you also once walked, when you were living in them.

8 But now you also put away all these: anger, wrath, malice, slander, shameful speech from your mouth.
9 Do not lie to one another, having put off the old man with his practices,
10 and having put on the new man, being renewed in knowledge according to the image of the one who created him,

11 where there is not Greek and Jew, circumcision and uncircumcision, barbarian, Scythian, slave, free; but Christ is all and in all.

12 Therefore put on, as chosen ones of God, holy and beloved: compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, gentleness, patience,
13 bearing with one another and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; just as the Lord forgave you, so also you.
14 And above all these things, love, which is the bond of perfection.

15 And let the peace of Christ act as arbiter in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful.
16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, in all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms, hymns, spiritual songs, singing with gratitude in your hearts to God.
17 And everything, whatever you do, in word or in deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
