We are using the New Revised Standard version. \n\nGod Is Love\n1 John 4 – 21 \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBeloved\, let us love one another\, because love is from God\, and everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.\nWhoever does not love does not know God\, because God is love.\nIn this the love of God was revealed among us\, that God sent his one and only Son into the world so that we might live through him.\nIn this is love\, not that we loved God\, but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the atoning sacrifice for our sins.\nBeloved\, if God loved us in this way\, we also ought to love one another.\nNo one has ever seen God. If we love one another\, God abides in us\, and his love is perfected in us.\nWe know that we abide in him and he in us because he has given us his Spirit.\nAnd we have seen and we testify that the Father has sent the Son to be the Savior of the world.\nIf anyone confesses that Jesus is the Son of God\, God abides in him\, and he in God.\nAnd we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love\, and whoever abides in love abides in God\, and God abides in him.\nBy this\, love is perfected among us\, so that we may have confidence on the day of judgment\, because as he is\, so also are we in this world.\nThere is no fear in love\, but perfect love casts out fear\, because fear has to do with punishment. Whoever fears has not been perfected in love.\nWe love him because he first loved us.\nIf anyone says\, “I love God\,” and yet hates his brother\, he is a liar. For he who does not love his brother whom he has seen\, how can he love God whom he has not seen?\nAnd this is the commandment we have from him: Whoever loves God must also love his brother.\n\n\n  \n\n\n\n\n\nAbout our meeting: \nWe will begin by exploring this inspiring text together to see what it brings up in us. \nOur meeting last about an hour\, and it is a sacred moment that is dedicated to alignment with our soul’s deepest purpose. \nAbout our angle: \nWe see a distinction between our ‘old self’\, with all its illusions\, and a greater life rooted in the divine within us.\nOur Gnostic belief is that everyone’s journey is about uncovering those illusions to find a place of stillness and sovereignty. We follow the principle that the divine resides in ourselves\, guiding us on our path. \nTherefore\, our teaching is always a renewed call: to recognize and connect more closely to the divine within ourselves. \nAs the School of the Golden Rosycross\, our purpose is to gather in meetings like this\, moments that connect us to the highest goal of all: Soul liberation. \nOur meetings are rooted in the heart; they form a space for friends who share a common soul-ground. This also means that everyone is welcome\, regardless of background\, whether Christian\, Muslim\, Hindu\, Sikh\, Buddhist or any other faith or no faith. We come together as one universal religion in the love and peace that enriches every soul that resonates with it. \nYou can also find us in person in various locations across Sweden\, Finland\, and the rest of the world.
