About our teachings
The School of the Golden Rosycross is a modern initiation school, rooted in universal teachings that guide the inner pilgrim to soul liberation. When we come through self-knowledge to a renewal and alignment with the Divine Light within, then we awaken to an omnipresent Eternal Reality.
Our teachings are not about new knowledge, nor about accumulating new beliefs, following new rules, or about personal achievements. We will always talk about waking up from the illusion and coming to a full awakening. Not as some emotional or mental idea, but as a reality.
At the core of our teaching lies a simple universal truth:
Today’s human being is incomplete, becausse the divine essence within us is asleep, buried under many layers of ego and bound by attachments to this transient world. The purpose of life is not to refine the temporary self, but to let go of it entirely, so that the original, eternal soul can arise to refine us.
At the core of our teachings lies the following understanding.
There are two different natures
Every human being is the carrier of two fundamentally different natures:
- The temporary self – This is the personality that is shaped by personal desires, emotions, and thoughts. This temporary self is bound to the material world and is subject to the cycles of birth, growth, decline, and death. Our temporary self identifies with external achievements and personal attachments while it is in constant pursuit of fulfillment in transient things.
- The eternal essence – This is the divine spark, a latent presence within us that belongs to a divine order. Unlike the temporary self, it is not bound by time, space, or personal identity. It is the source of true Wisdom, Love, and Unity. Our divine spark stays dormant until we begin to trust and follow its Wisdom, Love and Unity back to its Source.
The Call of the Soul
At some point, our heart emanates a call to a type of freedom that this world cannot provide. This call can be felt as a pain or as an unrest. This is the soul awakening to the eternal reality that cannot be unseen, which makes us seek. This seeking is not a pursuit of mystical experiences but a response to the spark of true Love in our hearts. In recognising the freedom of this Love, we receive its essence in the form of peace and freedom.
We come to soul liberation by following the call. We will come to understand that true transformation does not come from acquiring something new but from what arises within us when we surrender and let things be for what they are.
This is the moment when our true path begins.
The Inner Death and the New Birth
Real transformation is not about improving the transient self a little more, it is about letting it go. The ego, with all its attachments and fears, needs to surrender. We sometimes call this «the endura», which means «inner death», but it is not something to fear. It is simply the process of making space for the new Soul-Consciousness to take root.
- It is not forced. Our death and awakening happen gradually and naturally as we align ourselves with the divine order.
- It is not about suffering. It is about release, about freeing ourselves from the chains of illusion that cause our suffering.
- It is not about escape. It is about seeing reality fully as it truly is.
As this process unfolds, a new consciousness emerges that is no longer bound by personal desires but that is guided by Love, Wisdom, and Unity.
The Power of Love
This total transformation, that we somnetimes call Transfiguration, is not achieved through effort or self-discipline alone. It happens through our awakening in the Power of Love, and then we don’t talk about personal love, but about Universal Love, which is a Divine force that moves all of creation.
- This Love dissolves all obstacles in ourselves.
- It dissolves the barriers between us and others.
- It washes away fear, attachment, and resistance.
- It creates the perfect condition where the Divine Seed within us can grow.
To walk this path is a surrender to this Power of Love. To allow It to work more and more through us, so that it reshapes our entire being.
A Living Process
Our teachings are not dogmas to be accepted or rejected. They are descriptions of a process that unfolds within, a process that each person must experience for themselves.
- It is not about believing, but about a New Becoming.
- It is not about joining a group, but about stepping onto an inner path that leads our souls past the limitations of the personal self.
- It is not about escaping the world, but about learning to see the divine shining through everything.
The path is there when you are ready
Not everyone feels called to this path, and that is as it should be. Our teachings are never meant to convince or to persuade. They are simply a mirror, reflecting something that has always been there, waiting to be recognised.
For those who feel the inner call, the School is a place that gives the soul recognition, nourishment, guidance and support. We don’t have a system of authority, but we represent a living body of people in which each soul has its natural place. This living body is like a bridge that helps us cross from the temporary into the eternal through a path of self-realisation.
And already, in reading this, we can awaken to something profound: The divine reality that we are speaking about exists within and outside us. It is the same luminous essence that always was within us and beyond us. It is the Living Truth that is waiting to be remembered so deeply that it can be embodied in the highest priestly way.
