Invitation
Dear friends, dear brothers and sisters in spirit,
It is with great pleasure that we invite you to this year’s Midsummer event in Sweden, to a pan-European gathering.
At the rosicrucian center in Edshult, surrounded by nature in the idyllic Swedish province of Småland, we will spend a long weekend together singing, dancing and making music around the campfire, learn and practice gymnastic exercises and paneurhythmy, have the opportunity to attend a temple service, meditate at sunrise, pray, prepare the dining room together and clean the kitchen, experience nature and swim in the lake, and be inspired by the endless vastness, purity, and beauty of Astrid Lindgren’s homeland.
However, it is about much more than that!
Now, more than ever, since some dark centuries, Europe needs unity, purity, clarity, courage to face the truth, love, trust in God and a shared orientation as the core of true friendship, brotherhood and peace.
All spiritual teachers and sages of universal character have repeatedly emphasized that people with open consciousness and willingness to learn in the Great School of Life – the so-called disciples – should create within themselves and with each other what we want to see manifested in the world. As Mahatma Gandhi said: be the change that you wish to see in the world.
So let us put aside all other work for a moment and instead reveal our common denominator, manifest and anchor it once again in the physical field of our beautiful Earth home, so that all awakening human beings can more easily find access to this united spiritual-physical dimension.
You, who wish to accept this call for pan-European unity, bring your light, your love, your inspiration, your willingness to ignite others with your divine spark and your openness to be fertilized with new ideas of Light. Let us once again be the midwives of this New Europe.
Even if we limit ourselves to Europe for the time being.
For we feel and know more and more clearly every day and every hour that only a large, luminous, strong, and divinely anchored WE can also inspire and sustain our individual, family, national and group work in the long term.
In the name of what is sacred to us, let us be courageous and integrate the greatness and quality of a Europe united in light into our work.
Let us use the special time in which our pan-European event is embedded, midsummer, the astronomical summer solstice—the time when the sun reaches its highest point in the sky—as a portal and a measure for our work, and open the inner sun to the highest light and the highest love, shining for all from the reborn new WE.

The aim of the event
The overall aim of this event could be summarized as ‘Unity in Multiplicity’.
Our wish and longing is to cocreate a space that encourages and invites us all to sink deeper, beyond the stubbornly persistent illusion of separation, and to anchor ourselves into the field of total unity that ultimately weaves all things together. By collectively connecting to this lived reality of our fundamental oneness, our individual differences then becomes a source of gratitude, curiosity and joy rather than a cause for comparison, judgement and doubt. We are all unique expressions of this one true Light, this one Spirit.
It is in this universal, all-encompassing spirit that we, The Golden Rosycross Nordic and the Universal White Brotherhood of Bulgaria now invite friends, fellow seekers and curious souls from all spiritual traditions – or none at all – to join us for a few days of shared presence under the sun in the deep forests of Småland!
Together we will enjoy three full days filled with discussion circles, dancing, temple services, paneurythmy, swimming in the lake, playing music among other activities. The language used at our event will be English.
Apart from the scheduled activities, participants are more than welcome to contribute in any way they feel called to! May it be through music, holding a meditation circle, yoga, qi gong, bird watching, a short presentation on a topic one is passionate about or any other activity you feel like sharing! Previous years, we’ve had guests from various other spiritual groups and lectures on stoicism, native american mythology but also more general topics such as ‘what is spirituality today?’.
All contributions are welcomed and highly appreciated – no matter how big or small! We cannot emphasise enough that this is a Universal gathering, not at all exclusively Rosicrucian and/or UWB. The aim is not to advocate for a specific doctrine or ideology. Instead it is to find connection, perhaps through – but ultimately beyond these concepts!
As Mirdad once so wisely put it; “The seed of truth is in all men and things. Your task is not to sow the Truth, but to prepare the favorable season for its sprouting.” So come bloom with us this June!

However, below follows a brief introduction to two central activities of our traditions, if you are not familiar with these from before!
Paneurythmy
Just as previous years, we will have the joy of partaking in the practice of paneurethmy! This is a unique spiritual movement and dance exercise created by Peter Deunov, the founder of ‘The Universal White Brotherhood’ from Bulgaria.
The overall aim is to, through coordinated movements, align one’s thoughts, feelings and actions and through this establish inner balance and a harmonious relationship with the all-encompassing underlying rhythm and life force of creation. Paneurhythmy also contains an emphasis on building a new culture of love, fraternity, and freedom through unity.
Temple services
During the event, rosicrucian temple services will be held that bring fresh inner perspectives and renewed insight on certain topics. During these shared moments of contemplation, we are encouraged to let go of the distractions of our everyday life, and instead direct our awareness on the Eternal Living principle that lies within the core of our being. Some may refer to this point as the Divine Spark, the Christ, Atman, the Dao etc. Through this shared awareness the universal liberating Light becomes more accessible, allowing its healing energies to resonate deeply within our souls.
If the services are not in a language that you are fluent in, then there are translations available after each service.

Location and Accommodation
The conference will take place at Edshult Säteri, a serene and idyllic location in the Swedish countryside.
We can comfortably host up to 80 participants. The accommodations are shared dormitories separated by gender, featuring bunk beds, shared bathrooms, and basic facilities. We kindly ask you to bring your own sheets and towels for the stay.
The event will take place from June 18th to 22nd, 2026.
We will begin with dinner at 18:00 on June 18th, and departure after breakfast on June 22nd. We will therefore have three full days of activities between the 19-21th.
The standard conference fee is €150, which includes accommodation and meals. Extra nights can be booked for €15 per night, excluding meals.
There is also space for the ones planning to come with a tent or caravan!
The fee is then reduced to €100.
If a reduction in the fee is needed, let us know!
Vegetarian meals will be served throughout the gathering, and the retreat will be alcohol-free. Please inform us of any dietary needs in the registration form through the link below!
Getting to Edshult
The easiest way to get to Edshult is by train to Nässjö and then by bus (325) to ‘Hult riksväg 40’ where possibilities for pick up will be available.

Programme
This year’s exact programme is not yet set in stone. This is intentional, as we want to allow space for an organic co-creative process to take shape. However, to give a feeling for how our days together could look, we will share the programme of the previous midsummer gathering below. This year, we would like to offer discussion circles, paneurythmy, dancing, creating a maypole, temple services and much more. There will be plenty of activities for everyone’s liking! But do not worry – the sunrise meditation is not mandatory!
